Are you a Protected Area interested in developing ecotourism?
We offer our protected area members a set of tools to help them collaboratively work with the tourism sector to develop ecotourism that benefits conservation and local communities. By becoming a MEET Member you´ll be joining a network of parks who are committed to improving tourism practices across the Mediterranean!
Why become a park member?
Support implementing MEET Model for ecotourism development.
Training and capacity building opportunities.
Full voting and leadership rights.
Branding, communications and storytelling.
Market access through our travel industry partnerships.
Establish connections and exchange experiences with our network of members at exclusive events.
How does it work?
As a MEET Member you become part of the collective MEET Community and commit to supporting MEET´s aims and values. Our application process ensures that the goals of both parties, MEET and the potential member are aligned from the start.
Step 1: Please complete this contact form to express your interest and intentions for the partnership. If everything goes well, we’ll then send you a formal expression of interest form to start the membership process.
Step 2: After receiving your Expression of Interest form, we'll schedule an introductory orientation meeting. In this meeting, we will provide detailed information about MEET and the commitments expected of members. It's also an opportunity for you to share how your park can benefit MEET and ask any questions.
Step 3: The MEET Board will review your application. If your company meets the requirements, membership will be approved. You'll receive a registration form and letter of approval to formalise your membership. You will then be able to join our catalogue of destinations.
Don’t want to become a full-right member but want to stay updated about the developments of the association? Join us as an observer and you won’t miss anything! Complete the contact form and we’ll get back to you.
